I just enjoyed a great Joanna-centric story by seanchaidh:

Whatever will be, will be covers the first decades of Joanna's life in an interesting, realistic, lively way from her POV, and makes you feel like you know her :)

The lovely severinne has written a sequel to her sexy Bold Venture Pike/McCoy MU jailbait fic, namely

Foolish Pleasure

Mirror universe hot/kinky/dirty, with Pike seemingly on top but actually getting wrapped around a young McCoy's gifted finger. If MU lights your fire, a must-read IMO. Oh, and it now also comes with lovely art by norfolkdumpling *drools*

I'm possibly the last person to have read The Basics of Primary Education, but as I'm not a big fan of family&kids stories, the premise of AU - Jim Kirk is a kindergarten teacher. Leonard is the skeptical parent scared me away for far too long ( Read more... )

severinne posted another story in her "The Wind and its Satellite" series, namely Recuperation - and it's awesome IMVHO. I read it sometime during my vacation and frequently thought back to it and about it over the course of the following days, which doesn't happen very often with fic. The Place Where They Have to Take You In by igrockspock, Kirk/Sulu's Mom (not really happening, but almost).

This story impressed me with its emotional intensity and *hmmm* integrity? Hard to describe, but I loved it.

I'm sure I recced imachar's wonderful Pike/Boyce series already once and I do it again because I think it's worth many more readers and comments than it received so far. If you haven't read anything of it yet, Do It Now. Just too good to pass :)
